Paintings, photos, rants and raves honoring God/ Goddess in all of us

Welcome to Peggy Jo's! Grab a cup of tea or coffee and sit for awhile. This site is being created to honor God/Goddess, creator of all that is. It is a living and growing tribute, so be sure to come visit often. May the Creator of all that is bless your day with love, joy, peace, and tenderness.

In using the gifts given, we give gifts to God/ Goddess, the giver of all gifts.
(from Child of the Dawn by Gautama Chopra)

WE ARE ALL ONE.

The photo is entitled 'a new day'. It is one of a selection of beautiful North Georgia mountain sunrises and sunsets called The Ippisch Collection. Click the photo to check out that website and view more of The Ippisch Collection.

We love being outside during the full moon. It is a magical time. Sometimes we can actually almost capture the effect on film.

Something to Think About
You are ok just the way you are. Until you aren't. I am ok just the way I am. Until I am not. When I am not ok just the way I am it is because I decide that I am not and then it is up to me to change the way I am. Same goes for you. You are at each moment creating who you are. And at each moment who you are is ok. Until you decide that it is not. If you stay the person that you have decided is not ok, then it is not ok to be who you are. So many times I decide to be more loving, caring, thinner, healthier, kinder, etc., etc. and I do nothing to cause me to be the new me. This is not ok because it makes me uneasy in my heart. I have let me down. This creates tension and guilt, which if not resolved creates dis-ease. We spend so much time looking to change the other person that we don't have time to change ourselves. And in reality, your self is the only person you can change. And the only person you should seek to change. Or not.

This is a picture of my soul mate, Mark. He's my greatest, most awesome blessing. We will be married nine years on Independence Day, 2002. He's a wonderful partner.

And this is me. These were taken while we were camping on our land in North Georgia, in 1999. We lived there from September, 1998 til April, 1999. Click on the photo to see some of the rest of the family.

I believe in a loving God/Goddess who created us to create whatever we choose to create...our life is ours to choose. I believe we are created by this ONE in their image. To me that means we are creators also. I also believe that we are, along with everything else in the universe, God. If you scrape your fingernail along your arm you will get skin cells under your nail. Those cells are you. Even tho they are not the whole of you, they are still you. In the same way I believe we are God's body, along with every other thing in the universe. Not the whole of God, certainly, but God/Goddess, nonetheless. I believe this includes the planets, stars, rocks, trees, ants, moles, dirt, all of it. I believe the earth is a living entity. I don't believe we in the christian world have the whole truth, or that our Bible is God's last word, or that all of it is God's words. I believe God talks to us now, everyday...and we don't listen.

Sorry that the picture isn't viewable...I am told that it is because of my "Micky Mouse HTML editor". If anyone knows a fix for this, that I can do using notepad, and HTML code, please email me, and I will get it fixed. In the meantime, thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day, and keep smiling.
